About Us

We are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (PLA) and have received PLA accreditation for our provision. We are very proud of our excellent reputation within the area, with the majority of our enquiries coming from word of mouth recommendations.

As a pre-school, we educate, through play, children between the ages of two to four years and we offer a safe environment for children to play, have fun and make friends. We welcome children and their families from all nationalities.

Our dedicated staff are what makes us a special place to bring your children.

All of our staff are qualified in early years education, first aid trained and have experienced many children coming into pre-school over the years. They regularly attend training offered by Trafford Early Years Services to keep up to date with current practices.

Our Manager Louise Ellicott, is a qualified Early Years Teacher and leads the team.

We have close relationships with Trafford Early Years Advisors and regularly meet with them to ensure we offer the best possible childcare. We attend forums to ensure that we are up to date on current practise in Early Years Education.

We have policies and procedures which we regularly review, update and add to: parents are invited to read these at anytime and give us feedback on any aspect of our setting. Please see our Privacy Notice.

We are an inclusive setting and work with multi-agency support e.g. SENAS (Special Educational Needs Advisory Service) and SLT (Speech and Language Therapists).  We have achieved our ‘Inclusion Friendly Setting’ Award.

We are listed in the Trafford Service Directory

We realise how important your child’s pre-school development is in preparing them to venture out of the family home and feel safe and confident in a new environment.

We aim to develop their confidence and understand that patience and fun play a big part in that.

Our setting is in a large hall which is bright and spacious, with access to an outside play area and we have an excellent selection of resources, especially chosen each day.

Our planning every half term, takes into account the time of year, what children enjoy doing, and the suggestions we receive from parents and children.

We regularly organise theme days and outings e.g. To the theatre, to the park and encourage the children to learn new skills e.g. tennis and yoga.  A daily music and movement activity starts the day.
